FIND A NEW NAME FOR MY PHOTOGRAPHY COMPANY AND WIN A FREE PHOTO SHOOT!
I thought I would let everyone start posting here too since my website is having problems. So if you've had one in mind but haven't gotten around to it, start posting here. Let me tell you what I'm mostly in to so you have an idea. I like short names that are bold, like Bam Photography, Sage Photography, etc. Also names that would get searched a lot. I would use either of them but the websites are already taken. If I don't end up seeing a name that works I may end up sticking with my own name and I'll just do a drawing for all those who entered for a free photography shoot. So get your entries in!

Have fun and start posting!!!!

Okay here is an entry for your name the business. I was thinking of a play with Mann, like you did with Mannly painting. But the only thing I could come up with was Mannifest. So something like Mannifest photography or Mannifestation or you can play with it as you like. I looked up the definition and it says to come to the senses or to make evident. Good luck hope you find some thing you like.

Dear Carrie:
How about Carrie's Super Foto? (Just wanted to get in the act. Actually I'm braindead). or
Classics by Carrie? or Carrie's Classic Photography? (They are classic, you know). Good luck - you probably don't need luck with YOUR talent. Love, Gramma
Carrie...
This is Jeanette. Remember me? I love looking at your website and now your blog! Your pictures are amazing and I mean that whole-heartedly. You truly have a gift! For some reason I can't comment on people's blog--at least I haven't figured out how to do it--so I am responding to your e-mail. I thought of a name for your company that I want to propose to you, if it's not too late. If I had your talent--and your last name--I would call my business MANNIFEST PHOTOGRAPHY. To manifest to someone is to make clear or evident; to show plainly; to reveal. That's what you do with your photography, whether it's a person, animal, or inanimate object. You reveal the true beauty of that thing. In fact, with your eye and your camera it seems as if you actually have the ability to infuse beauty into something that the rest of us see as very plain. I'm not kidding you, Carrie, you have such a gift. I'm amazed you only started doing this a year ago! So, for what it's worth, there's my suggestion. Best of luck to you in this wonderful endeavor. You'll be very successful, I have no doubt. And after seeing those pictures of autumn in Monroe, I'm ready to move there! (I would just have to talk my family into it and I don't see that happening :)
Love, Jeanette
arrie,
Thanks so much for sending the connection to your blog.
The photographs are beautiful!
Immediately up receiving your first note regarding your name-seeking efforts, one "name" struck me. No others have struck me since. I think that i had read a little article within the hour about the proposed Chevrolet "Volt."
"Visual Voltage" is what struck me about your skills!
May God bless you and yours.
Ted
