Oh my gosh!  I just did a shoot at Sheena's house because she is getting ready to launch her new childrens accessory boutique shop online.  Can I just say AMAZING.  These kids were gorgeous and so nice to work with.  Thank you Sheena for the opportunity to work with you once again.  I just love you!  I've posted a few more on my website for your viewing pleasure. hehe.

Christmas Family Pictures

This year we did not have the pleasure of using Dawni as our photographer.  It proved to be very challenging to be the photographer and in the photos with the animals.  The christmas card that you all are getting was taken at great risk.  Whiskers, the grey cat was quite scary.  Charly had to hold her down by her tale when I got up to situate the camera.  She screamed wildly.  All in all we got a few good ones but I wouldn't recommend doing it this way.  It's much easier with a photographer.  :)

Recent Family Trip

My parents and I just recently went to visit the G's and Uncle. Had a good time but felt a bit under the weather without Charly and Barney there. I don't travel well without them I guess. So here are a few of my favorites.

My parents.  I just love this one of the two of them.  I don't think I've ever been able to get this good of a shot of the two of them.  They don't like there picture taken so they would never make a special trip just to get pictures done with a nice background.

My Gramps.  He's 80 and still in great shape.  I just love that they are still around.

My uncle's living room.  I like the effect here so that's why I posted it.

My uncle shingled his whole house front to back all by himself.  It took him 8 years I believe.

My uncle...

San Francisco building

I'm not very political but I thought this poster was different from the usual.  Of course I did the usual editing to give it this look.  So Republican's, please don't hate me because I put this up.  I just like it for what it is without meaning.

Weird random lady.  I liked her outfit so I snapped one when she wasn't looking.  I ended up liking it so here it is.

We had lots to celebrate this occasion.

This is the famous John Lasseter's father.  For those of you who don't know he's one of the creators of Pixar and is partner's with Steve Jobs.  Toy Story was one of his first creations.  John Lasseter is my mother's cousin and I guess that makes Paul (shown above) my great uncle.  I really think Paul is a nice guy.  We throughly enjoyed his company and all the great John Lasseter stories. Click on this link for more John Lasseter info http://www.awn.com/mag/issue3.8/3.8pages/3.8lyonslasseter.html

My uncle prefers pictures of himself where the right side of his neck doesn't show.  Years back he encountered a life threatening illness that stripped from him a few everyday comforts.  His good looking neck was one of them.  Glad you're still here though neck and all.

My mom recently got a new camera.  I think most of it was to find a way to connect with me.  She was great at taking pictures and showing an interest in what I do.

Grandpa at the yard sales.  He always picks something strange up and tells the owner of the item what it is and how it works.

This was Grandma's find at the yard sale.

My cute grandparents.

My mom has such long hair.  I wish I could grow mine out but it just never works that way.

Way cool editing!  I've been getting into a few different styles of editing lately.  This style is closely related to Dave Hill and Jill Greenburg.  Check out there websites http://manipulator.com and http://davehillphoto.com

My hubby and puppy's halloween costumes

Charly was so cute to me the other day.  I came home to find Charly and Barney on the porch waiting for my arrival.  For some reason Charly was holding Barney back from running up to me but I couldn't see why.  But then came cute little Barney in his Jiu-Jitsu outfit that Charly had bought for him.  I just died from over consumption of cuteness.  So on Halloween, Charly and Barney dressed up for me.

I'm not sure who the winner was.

The Peery's!!

I just recently did a shoot for my sister in-law and her family.  I love these guys.  They were so much fun and really played it up for me.  So I thought you would all enjoy seeing there goofy side.  We took a lot of great pictures but I'm sure Amber will put a lot of those on her blog.

Before you scroll to the picture below, can you guess why Dallas is making this face?

I made him sit in this on accident.  Oops...

Charly and Barney came along too.  I didn't realize how silly my husband still looks with these glasses.  I've got to get him in to some sort of "style rehab."

Abram found these glasses laying around so they all decided to give me there best modeling pose.  I think Crim wins!

Emerson looks like a cop!

I just love this one of Amber.  You are so cute when you laugh and smile!  Don't you all agree?

Girls Park City Vacation

Sheena had this great idea to get all the girls together and go up to Park City for the night and then shopping the next day. So we packed up and headed out.

We did our makeup and then took a lot of pictures.

The next day we headed out to shop but first we stopped into the old part of the city to take a few more pictures.  I'm nuts about photography and lucky for me my family is nuts about getting there picture taken.  This first picture is a reproduction of Abbey Road's cover with my own flair.

Park city can be cold.  We need to make sure our men are properly dressed.

We won't be able to keep our hands off of you.

Thank you ladies for a fabulous weekend!  We definitely should do this again.

CONTEST

FIND A NEW NAME FOR MY PHOTOGRAPHY COMPANY AND WIN A FREE PHOTO SHOOT!

I thought I would let everyone start posting here too since my website is having problems.  So if you've had one in mind but haven't gotten around to it, start posting here.  Let me tell you what I'm mostly in to so you have an idea.  I like short names that are bold, like Bam Photography, Sage Photography, etc.  Also names that would get searched a lot.  I would use either of them but the websites are already taken.  If I don't end up seeing a name that works I may end up sticking with my own name and I'll just do a drawing for all those who entered for a free photography shoot.  So get your entries in!
*Go to my website for the rules.
Have fun and start posting!!!!

My latest photo shoot.  This little girl really caught my eye.

Monroe in the fall

Monroe is so gorgeous in the fall.  These trees are up in the canyon that we live five minutes from.  I'm so glad I caught it before it went away.  It only lasts for about a week.  The colors are amazing.  I didn't enhance them just so you know.  I just made sure the exposure was right and the camera did the rest.

I've been wanting to photograph this building for a long time.  So when I was taking Colleen around Monroe I showed her this.  She was in love and so was I so I had to take this picture.  I may enter this on into a contest.  We'll see...

I love coaching cheer.  Here are some pictures from my "B" squad.  It's my younger group that I enjoy so much!  They have come so far this year and I can't wait till we compete.  I just know they are going to be great!

Lila

One of our most photogenic kids in the family.  I just can't stand how cute she is.

I thought I would add a few more from the wedding now that I've had a little more time to edit these.  I love this one of Jennee.  The moment was so perfect.  Do you remember what you were laughing about?

This is my hotty cousin David.  Sorry ladies, he's off the market!

I just love both of these pictures.  Our friends, Jon and Sharon came down for the weekend and we took them shooting.  They brought some friends from Japan that have never shot a gun and probably haven't ever seen one in person.  So this was fun to put a gun in her hand.  She had the most romantic look with that rifle.

Winslow and Heidi's Wedding

They finally got married.  Such a beautiful reception.  You never would have guessed it was inside a church basketball court.  Love you guys!

Mark and Ren's wedding

This was one of the nicest weddings I've been to.  Gourmet food and great sounding band.  We danced all night long.  I just love this picture of Walt.  He looks like he's having a superb time.  And if I remember correctly, we all did.

These two had personality.  The wanted pictures that showed who they were and I think they got it.
